
A somber cloud hangs over Colerain Township following a tragic incident yesterday night that left a 15-year-old boy dead and a 16-year-old facing charges. The shooting occurred just before 9 p.m. in the 3000 block of Laverne Drive, the coroner's office and local police reported. The victim has been identified as Demarian Palmisano, who succumbed to his injuries at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, according to WCPO.

Officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of an "accidental" shooting, with EMS quickly transporting Palmisano to Children's Hospital, where, unfortunately, he died due to the severity of his injuries. The suspect was believed to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the shooting.
