
Three individuals were rushed to the hospital on Saturday, following a shooting in Deming, New Mexico, per local authorities. The incident occurred on August 17 when a dispute at a residence on 1000 W. Birch Street turned perilously violent, unleashing gunfire that pierced the sullen air of the neighborhood, as reported by KTSM.
A statement from the Deming Police Department revealed that around 4 p.m., two people arrived at the home where the altercation exploded into the shooting. Although the circumstances that led to this confrontation remain veiled in ambiguity, the aftermath was starkly clear: three individuals were left needing urgent medical attention.
Expanding further on the aftermath, the University Medical Center of El Paso confirmed, as per the KFOX-TV report that six patients in total were received from the incident.
According to a KVIA report, the police consider this shooting an isolated incident, with no persistent threat looming over the public.
