The Knoxville Police Department (KPD) has identified three suspects involved in a violent altercation that occurred at the Market Square Garage in downtown Knoxville. According to a WATE report, the suspects were involved in an early morning fight on Saturday and have since been apprehended, with charges pending against them. The investigation is currently ongoing as the police work through the details of the case.
Initial information from the KPD indicated that two men were accused of assaulting two women on the fourth floor of the parking garage. A third suspect, a woman, allegedly fired a shot at one of the victims. The incident is reported to have erupted following a dispute in the elevator. Security footage showed the three individuals and the vehicles they fled in, which assisted the police in identifying the suspects. No names have yet been released to the public.
