
In the early hours of Monday at the Loch Raven Village Apartments in Towson, where a fire claimed the life of a man and left several others, including three children, injured. According to CBS News Baltimore, Dana Hunt, 43, has been arrested and charged with arson and first-degree murder in connection with the deadly incident.
Firefighters arrived shortly after midnight to confront an inferno rapidly consuming a second-floor apartment. They worked fervently to safely extract trapped individuals, managing to pull a 43-year-old man through a window, who was then rushed to the hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. A 43-year-old woman, along with three children—a 5-year-old, a 4-year-old, and an infant—were also taken to receive medical attention, as detailed by the Baltimore County Fire Department and reported by CBS News Baltimore.
Fox Baltimore reports that the fire erupted in the 8400 block of Greenway Road, where police and fire crews responded quickly. The suspect, Hunt, now finds herself detained on a no-bond status at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
