Law enforcement officials in Tuscola County are on the hunt for at least two suspects involved in a drive-by shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon. The Tuscola County Sheriff's Office reported that the incident took place on Colwood Road near Akron Road in Ellington Township, targeting a residence in a brazen daylight attack. According to ABC12, the assailants were driving a tan or gray Ford sedan when they fired multiple shots at the home around 1:45 p.m.
After the shooting, the suspects' vehicle was seen fleeing north on Colwood Road and then making a westward turn onto Bay City-Forestville Road, eventually disappearing near Graf Road. This sequence of events was described by the Sheriff's Office who are actively soliciting tips from the public. Although no injuries have been reported, investigators have yet to reveal a possible motive behind the attack as the situation remains under scrutiny.
