
Two people sustained injuries in a severe car accident that culminated with their vehicle overturning several times in Trowbridge Township yesterday evening. As reported by FOX 17, the incident occurred before 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of 30th Street and 108th Avenue, with the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office being the first to respond to the scene.
The sheriff's office stated that the car was traveling east when it failed to navigate the curves on 30th Street, causing it to overturn multiple times. According to the same report, while ironically working to keep the community safe, one of the two occupants is now fighting for their life in critical condition.
WOODTV notes that both individuals involved in the accident were transported to the hospital for treatment. The sheriff's office confirms that one of the injured parties is in critical condition.
In the accident's aftermath, help came from multiple sources. Dispatchers, Life EMS, the County’s Accident Reconstruction Team, the Pinegrove Fire Department, and the Allegan City Police Department were all credited by the sheriff's office, as per FOX 17.
