Last Friday, a tragic scene unfolded in Santa Clara when a 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a solo vehicle collision. The Santa Clara Police Department responded to the incident near Agnew Road and Montague Expressway at 4:44 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash with injuries, as stated in a news release by the Santa Clara Police Department.
Upon their arrival on the scene, officers discovered the young motorcyclist, a resident of East Palo Alto, lying on the ground. Despite their efforts and those hastening paramedics, the injuries proved too severe, and the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses reported seeing the motorcyclist traveling southbound on Agnew Road before the crash. However, no other vehicles seemed involved, and the details that led to the collision remain under investigation.
