
A 64-year-old man was shot in a road rage incident on Riverview Circle. The situation began around 8 p.m. on Saturday when the man nearly collided with a white car that entered the circle recklessly. Things heated up after both drivers pulled into a nearby gas station. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the driver of the white car chased the victim while shouting at him.
The 64-year-old man drove away from the gas station, only to be followed onto Halls Ferry and McLaran. The driver of the white car drew a firearm and shot the older man. Despite his injury, the man managed to drive himself to the Moline Acres Police Department seeking help. "EMS responded and treated him at the Moline Acres Police Department; however, the 64-year-old man refused to be transported by EMS to a hospital for further treatment," as stated by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
