Happening on Monday, Sept. 30, the green grounds of Tierra Verde Golf Club will play host to a day filled with swings, putts, and hopefully, a good few hole-in-ones for a cause that keeps beating at the core of the nation’s health concerns. Heart disease isn't joking around as the leading killer in the United States, and Arlington's event is stepping up as part of a series of fundraising efforts to combat this relentless adversary.
For those looking to showcase their golfing prowess or simply keen on supporting a worthy cause, the participation details are as straightforward as a well-aimed drive down the fairway. A spot in the tournament goes for $95 per individual player or $360 if you're arriving as a fancy foursome, which covers not just the round of golf but a few extras.
