
Two residents of Ashland, Massachusetts have been indicted on charges of wrongful voting in neighboring New Hampshire, after a Merrimack County grand jury found that they allegedly cast ballots in elections for which they were not legally qualified to vote.
Identified as Joshua Urovitch, 56, and Lisa Urovitch, 54, the couple is accused of participating in the electoral process on the wrong side of the state line, voting in Concord, New Hampshire, despite their Massachusetts residency. According to New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella, as reported by WCVB, "Specifically, both Urovitches are alleged to have voted in the November 3, 2020 General Election, the November 8, 2022 General Election, and the November 8, 2022 Concord School District Election."
The upcoming legal proceedings, which will include a courtroom review of their voting history, await the Urovitches, with an arraignment date scheduled for October 7 in Merrimack County Superior Court. Detailed in the allegations, as noted by Boston 25 News, "The Urovitches are accused of illegally voting in general elections in November 2020 and November 2022, as well as a Concord School District Election in November 2022."
