After being secured and taken into custody for booking at District C-11, a search along the route Trieu took to escape resulted in the recovery of a discarded 'Ghost Gun,' loaded with seventeen rounds in a twenty-four round capacity magazine, along with other ballistic evidence discovered on scene.

Charges laid against Trieu include Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 3rd Offense, Two Counts of Assault to Murder, Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building, among others. The suspect, who placed a dangerous firearm in his pants' back before attempting to flee, is also charged with Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Trieu is scheduled for arraignment in the Dorchester District Court according to law enforcement officials.
