
Residents of Roxbury are on alert as the Boston Police seek assistance in identifying an individual connected to multiple thefts in the area. According to a community alert issued by the Boston Police Department, the suspect has been involved in breaking and entering, along with larceny theft at two different locations on Taber Street.
The incident reportedly took place at about 3:30 AM on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 10 Taber Street. Here, the suspect is said to have gained entry into a building and made off with over $450 worth of packages from the mailroom. The suspect was captured on surveillance wearing a hooded sweatshirt emblazoned with "Champion" in red, white, and blue, accompanied by black shorts, black sneakers, and was pushing a shopping cart.
An earlier incident on Saturday, September 21, 2024, around 11:30 PM at 16 Taber Street, describes a similar scenario. In this case, the individual, who was seen wearing comparable attire, accessed the building and allegedly stole packages valued at over $1,000 from the mailroom. The Boston Police Department believes that it is the same suspect in both thefts and is urging anyone with pertinent information to come forward.
