Concerns have been raised in the Brisbane community after two suspicious incidents involving a red pickup truck were reported near local schools. According to the Brisbane Police Department, on Wednesday, a juvenile walking near Brisbane Elementary School at around 3:30 PM was approached by an unidentified male offering a ride, which the child declined before running home. The individual was described as a white male, roughly 40 years old, bald, wearing a white shirt, and driving a red pickup truck.
Subsequently, another incident caught the attention of a parent who, while walking with their child on Mendocino St., observed a red pickup truck slow down nearby, make eye contact, and then hastily depart towards Visitacion Ave. In this instance, the driver was described as a Hispanic male with a dark-colored goatee, donning a construction shirt, and behind the wheel of a red Dodge pickup truck. It remains unclear whether there's a connection between the two episodes.
The Brisbane Police Department is diligently investigating both occurrences to identify the suspect or suspects involved. They seek additional information and ask for community assistance, especially any surveillance video that may have captured these incidents. Residents who can provide details are urged to contact the Brisbane Police Department at 415-467-1212 promptly.
