Parks Boulevard exit in Nashville when a 73-year-old man from Turlock, California, was fatally injured after he exited a vehicle and was struck by another. The incident occurred yesterday, and local authorities have since identified the victim as Romayne Soiseth.
According to reports, Soiseth had been traveling with a driver for about 14 hours from his home state when he began experiencing feelings of claustrophobia due to the stop-and-go traffic on the interstate. In an attempt to alleviate his discomfort, he exited the vehicle. The driver of the car Soiseth had been in stated that he tried to convince him to return to the vehicle.
