As October encroaches, Chandler is preparing for its annual Halloween Spooktacular. Scheduled at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park – Stage Plaza on October 25 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., the event will offer a free evening filled with Halloween fun appropriate for all ages, as detailed in a recent announcement on the city’s website.

Major features of the celebration include the Catwalk Costume Parade, where individuals can showcase their Halloween costumes at 6:15 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. With no age limit or need to register, the parade is a welcoming affair, participants 12 and under will even receive special glow-in-the-dark souvenirs. On top of this, the Trunk-or-Treat station will feature over 300 lbs. of candy, ensuring plenty of treats for all the little trick-or-treaters.

Carnival games such as the Spooky Prize Wheel and Musical Headstones will also be featured with the exciting prizes, while a DJ will keep the Halloween Dance Party going with eerie tunes throughout the night. An Inclusive Play Area will be featured as well, offering activities and spooky sensory bins designed for children of all abilities, as per Chandler’s news announcement.

The event, presented by the City of Chandler, enjoys backing from a set of sponsors including WM, Legacy Traditional Schools, Raising Cane’s, and Love Your School. Free parking will be available, readily accommodating the ghastly influx of guests on the east side of Arizona Avenue. Instances of which include the City Hall Parking Garage and also nestled nearby, the Johnathan and Alexander parking structures.
