The National Weather Service Chicago/Romeoville IL predicts sunny conditions with temperatures peaking at around 82 degrees today, carried by an east wind blowing at 5 to 15 mph, as detailed by the National Weather Service. The nighttime is set to be partly cloudy with lows around 67 degrees.

Continuing the trend, Friday is expected to remain partly sunny with highs nearing 80 degrees and winds from the east-southeast at 10 to 15 mph, gusting up to 20 mph, which should continue into the evening as temperatures drop to about 68 degrees, as per the National Weather Service. Over the weekend, the chance for showers rises slightly, to 20 percent after 1 pm on Saturday, although the majority of the weather scenario will stay mostly sunny with highs near 81 degrees.
In an outlook that covers several days, the National Weather Service’s Hazardous Weather Outlook indicates no hazardous weather is expected through Wednesday, with spotter activation not deemed necessary. This extends to the nearshore waters of Lake Michigan, for both Illinois and Indiana, with no hazardous conditions anticipated for mariners as well.
For those concerned about rainfall, across Chicago, the chances for any significant precipitation seem slim. The week ahead promises to bring very low chances for spotty showers, "most locations and hours will remain dry with any chances for beneficial rainfall quite low into next week," as noted by the NWS Chicago.
