A man has been charged with the robbery and aggravated battery of a 27-year-old woman in Chicago, as reported by the Chicago Police Department. The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Lenard McKinnis from the 700 block of E. 64th St., was apprehended on the evening of September 19 and faces charges for one count of felony robbery and one count of felony aggravated battery in a public place.
McKinnis, who was additionally hit with a misdemeanor for driving on a revoked license, was arrested at approximately 6:37 p.m. in the 7800 block of W. Lafayette. He has been recognized as one of the individuals who allegedly physically assaulted a young woman and stole her items in the 6600 block of S. Wentworth earlier that same day.
