Local12 News reported that Mt. Healthy City Schools decided not to hold classes "as a precaution" after a social media threat was made. The district is actively working with law enforcement to investigate the situation further.

Concurrently, heightened security measures were implemented in other school districts, as additional schools also took this digital menace seriously. WCPO shared that Cincinnati Public Schools, Princeton, and Northwest schools increased their security in response to the social media threat being circulated. According to a statement by Cincinnati Public Schools, "CPS takes all threats seriously, implements immediate security protocols, and reports every incident to the Cincinnati Police Department for investigation and continued support."
