The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) is actively searching for two individuals who may have information related to a recent incident involving multiple stolen cell phones. According to WSMV, a series of thefts were reported to have taken place on September 20, at around 11:40 a.m. after the victim thought they secured their newly purchased phones into their vehicle outside a Verizon store on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, only to realize too late that a bag had been forgotten on the ground.

A curious scene unfolded shortly thereafter, with surveillance cameras capturing two women as they walked towards Governor’s Square Mall, toting what appeared to be the same Verizon bag in question. Meanwhile, spokespeople from the CPD are reaching out to the public for any assistance in identifying these potential suspects.

As detailed by Clarksville Now, anyone with information or additional video footage is called upon to contact Detective Neal at 931-648-0656, ext. 5538, or to reach out anonymously through the Clarksville-Montgomery County Crime Stoppers to be considered for a cash reward.
