The Clayton County Police Department is currently engaged in a search for Keisha Jones, a 35-year-old woman who has been reported as missing since Sunday morning. Jones, who suffers from suicidal ideations, was last seen at an address off Knight Chase Drive in Stockbridge around 11 a.m. She is described as a Black female, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with brown eyes and red hair tied back in a ponytail. She was wearing a blue crop top and blue shorts at the time of her disappearance.
Atlanta News First reported that Jones was also seen walking away from the Southern Regional Medical Center prior her disappearance. Furthermore, the Clayton County police are urging anyone with information to come forward and have provided a contact number for direct assistance in the ongoing search effort.
In a message that raises concern, family and friends disclosed to officers that they received a text from Jones wherein she threatened self-harm and "apologized to them for what she was about to do," according to WSB-TV. This alarming communication has heightened the urgency of finding Jones and ensuring her safety. The public is encouraged to stay vigilant and report any sightings or information that could lead to her whereabouts.
Jones is identifiable by multiple tattoos on her arms and legs, though the colors of shoes she was last seen wearing remains unknown.
