Residents in the 3500 block of Meadow Street were left shaken after a fatal shooting took place on Wednesday night. Dallas police, acting on a call received around 10:10 PM, found 54-year-old Simona Ulanda Walker unresponsive with gunshot wounds inside a home. Despite the prompt response from Dallas Fire-Rescue, Walker was pronounced dead at the scene, as detailed in a recent update by the Dallas Police Department.
Arrested in connection with the homicide, 26-year-old Zachary Anderson now faces murder charges. Shortly after discovering the body, detectives began unraveling the circumstances surrounding Walker's untimely demise. The identity of the victim was initially withheld, waiting for the notification of next of kin, which has since taken place.
