A Denton chiropractor is facing serious allegations after being charged with five counts of sexual assault involving his patients. Hector Reyes III, age 39, was arrested following an investigation into claims of sexual assault at his chiropractic business located on Lillian Miller Parkway.
Reports to the Denton Police Department started in June 2023 when a woman accused Reyes of sexually assaulting her during a session. A second woman came forward later that month with similar allegations. Struck by the gravity of the accusations, the police dove into a detailed investigation. According to the City of Denton, a Denton County Grand Jury heard the cases and indicted Reyes on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
On Thursday, Sept. 19, officers arrested Reyes without incident at his place of business, and he was booked into the Denton County Jail. Authorities have confirmed that the indictment includes five charges, with four of those stemming from the alleged incident reported first. Reyes's total bond is set at $115,000, an amount reflective of the severity of the charges.
The investigation is not closed; it remains active.
