Duncanville has officially set the stage to receive its new Chief of Police, Matthew Stogner. An announcement via the Duncanville Police Department's Facebook page reveals that the promotional ceremony, which will kick off at 3 p.m. on October 4th, is scheduled for the D.L. Hopkins Jr. Senior Center.
The ceremony will officially give him his new responsibilities and symbolize community support and a shared path forward. Fellow officers, city officials, and community members are expected to attend and participate in this important event.
