On September 14, the Eden Prairie Police Department (EPPD) is hosting its Fall Car Seat Clinic to ensure your child's car seat is installed correctly. According to a bulletin from the City of Eden Prairie, MN, an estimated "three out of four child seats are used incorrectly", which can put your little ones at risk while on the road.
The clinic is slated to run from 9 a.m. to noon at the Eden Prairie Fire Station #1, and no prior appointments are necessary, as detailed by the City of Eden Prairie, MN. This complimentary service provided by the EPPD features certified car seat technicians, who will be available to check and correct car seat installations. Participants will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early may be in your best interest.
