After participants have managed to find all the leafy treasure troves, they'll get to extend the experience into an art project. The goal is to collect the most aesthetic leaves and transform them by way of leaf rubbing art. And for those young readers eager to just jump right into more learning, the Readmobile—a library on wheels—will be making an appearance at the event's conclusion, equipped with a cargo of books, activities, and yes, the inevitable snacks to refuel those little explorers.
This hands-on experience is free to attend and is particularly suited for children ages 1-8, though all family members are welcome.
