A pedestrian jogging in the Money Hill subdivision was struck and killed by a Chevrolet Silverado on Monday morning. The accident happened just before 8:30 a.m., and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Traffic Division quickly responded to the scene.
In a report by St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, the pedestrian, despite being quickly taken to the hospital, could not survive the injuries. The St. Tammany Parish Coroner's Office is still working on identifying the victim.
