
A fatal incident unfolded in the Valley Glen neighborhood on September 5, when the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at around 5:30 pm at 7463 N Varna Avenue, which resulted in one casualty. According to the LAFD alert, the body of an individual, whose age and gender remain undetermined, was found inside the remnants of a recreational vehicle that had been consumed by fire.
The first engine on the scene managed to quickly extinguish the flames; despite their efforts, no survivors emerged from the wreckage, and no other injuries have been reported at this time, as per the LAFD. Information about the incident is being coordinated between the Los Angeles Police Department, under Incident #3932.
The unfortunate event happened in Council District 2, under the jurisdiction of Fire Station 89 and Battalion 14. The local authorities, including personnel from Air Rescue 1 and Engine 102, were present at the scene to control the situation and commence an investigation.
