Fatal T-Bone Motorcycle Crash Claims Two Lives in El Paso’s Lower ValleySource: Google Street View

Last Wednesday's tragic T-bone collision in El Paso’s Lower Valley claimed the lives of two young men. As KTSM reports, seventeen-year-old Kevin Holguin and a 20-year-old Mexican man, whose identity has not been disclosed, died following the accident that occurred on the 7000 block of Alameda. According to the police, the crash took place just before 6 p.m. when a 65-year-old woman, driving a Volkswagen eastbound on Alameda, attempted a left turn.

An investigation into the crash by El Paso Police suggests that as the Volkswagen was turning, it was struck by a Yamaha motorcycle traveling westbound. The motorcycle, driven by Holguin with the unnamed passenger, collided with the car in what officials described as a "T-Bone-type collision," as reported by KFOX-TV.

The victims were promptly transported to a hospital for treatment, where they ultimately succumbed to their injuries, as noted by El Paso Times. These fatalities mark the 42nd and 43rd traffic-related deaths in El Paso this year, a slight decrease from the 53 reported around this same time last year.
