The Albany community is rallying behind the search for Kenderson Hill, a 64-year-old former city commissioner who has been reported missing. According to the Albany Police Department, Hill was last seen around 3:45 p.m. on Aug. 31, near the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue. It is believed he might have been making his way toward the 2500 block of Beachview Drive, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta.
Described as a man with a medium build, standing at 6′3″, and weighing 225 pounds, Hill was wearing a beige hat, black jacket, blue jeans, and black slides at the time of his disappearance. Volunteers, along with the police, have been actively searching for Hill, who has now been labeled as "critically missing." In need of medical treatment, the police upgraded his status on the evening following his disappearance, WALB News 10 reports.
There has been a call to action from APD to anyone who might hold information regarding Hill's whereabouts, urging them to come forward. The Albany Police Department has provided a contact number for tips at (229) 431-2100.
