In an effort to provide critical support for their health and financial decision-making, Tolleson residents can mark their calendars for free legal assistance. Partnering up, the Arizona State Bar, the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Young Lawyers Division, and the City of Tolleson announce the upcoming Free Legal Services Clinic. This event is slated for Saturday, October 5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Tolleson Civic Center, according to the city's events page.
Bringing together volunteer attorneys, the clinic promises to guide residents through the complexities of essential legal documents. Among the services offered, attendees can obtain assistance with Healthcare Power of Attorney, General Durable Power of Attorney, and Living Wills. Those interested in securing an appointment for these services should contact Fabiola Perez before the October 1 deadline, either through email at [email protected] or by phone at (602) 340-7293.
Note that appointments are limited, hence, securing one in advance is recommended for those interested in attending. Further details, including a flyer for the event, can be accessed on the aforementioned statewide events page. This initiative is a testament to the City of Tolleson's ongoing commitment to assist, and protect its community's legal integrity, through essential public services.
