
Fulton County voters should mark their calendars and prepare their pens, as deadlines for the upcoming elections are approaching. Lashandra Little, Voter Education and Outreach Manager, has laid out the key dates for citizens to remember. The first pressing deadline is October 7, which is the cutoff for voter registration updates, including any changes in name or address, as per a statement obtained by the Fulton County.
For those intending to vote by mail, the deadline to request an absentee ballot is October 25. Early voting begins on October 15 and continues until November 1, allowing voters to bypass lines on Election Day. Election Day is scheduled for November 5.
Fulton Votes is ramping its efforts to ensure that voters are informed and prepared. Through public announcements and outreach initiatives, they are working to raise awareness of the upcoming deadlines. "Our critical deadlines right now that are coming up: Our first one is October 7th for Voter Registration, Voter Name Change, Voter Address Change, anything that needs to be changed on someone's My Voter Page has to be changed by October 7th," Little told Fulton County News.
