The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has apprehended three individuals in connection with the tragic shooting of a 19-year-old woman in Gilmer County. The suspects, identified as Gray Anthony McClure, 21, Robert Gabriel Shoilekov, 17, and Davonnte Lavon Brehon, 18, all from Ellijay, GA, are facing charges of felony murder, as reported by the GBI.
On Wednesday, at approximately 10:50 p.m., deputies and medical staff quickly responded to reports of a shooting in the 200 block of South Main Street in Ellijay. There, they found young Mallory Warden of Jasper, GA, in a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. The shooting incident was reported to have occurred on Talona Road in Gilmer County. Despite efforts to save her, Warden succumbed to her injuries after being rushed to the hospital.
The GBI's investigation is ongoing and they have made it clear that further arrests may be on the horizon. In their endeavor to piece together the circumstances surrounding Warden's death, the GBI has urged the public to come forth with any information that might aid their investigation.
