A unique blend of culture, athletics, and family fun kicks off with the Sensory Awareness Family Event at Trader Joe's. In collaboration with Gilbert Police and Gilbert Fire & Rescue, this annual event offers a sensory-friendly shopping experience. It will take place on Wednesday, September 25, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at 1779 E Williams Field Road. For those who prefer physical activities, the Gilbert Family Triathlon invites participants of all ages on Saturday, September 28, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., at 1919 E Queen Creek Rd.
The festive season continues with the Harvest in the Heritage District, celebrating the town's roots through ¡VIVA! A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage. Sponsored by Earnhardt San Tan Hyundai and Felix Construction, the series begins on Thursday, October 3, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., near Barrio Queen in the Heritage Marketplace. Gilbert’s love for the arts shines further as Page Park transforms into an outdoor cinema for the Fall 2024 season. Sponsored by Fusion Academy, "Movies in the Park" returns with a screening of "Inside Out 2" on Friday, October 4, starting at 6:30 p.m.
