The Gwinnett County Police Department is currently seeking the public's assistance in locating Jhon Sebastian Terencio-Quant, a 20-year-old male reported missing from Norcross. According to a statement obtained by Gwinnett County's official news release, a family member raised the alarm earlier this month when Jhon failed to return home.
A roommate, having last seen Jhon on September 4, has indicated to the family that he left with an unidentified male heading toward a hotel in the vicinity of Chamblee Tucker Road. The search for Jhon is complicated by the fact he was without a working cellphone, making family attempts to verify his whereabouts futile. Jhon was reportedly last spotted on September 11, walking alone on Pleasantdale Road in Doraville.
Inquiries into Jhon's last known movements revealed that he checked into the Horizon Inn located at 6187 Dawson Blvd with someone unknown on September 7. While Jhon's companion wanted to depart after several hours, Jhon decided against leaving, choosing to remain at the hotel. There is little to no information available on the identity of the individual accompanying him or on the circumstances leading to his prolonged stay there.
Gwinnett County Police are urging anyone who may have seen Jhon or have any information regarding his current location to come forward. People are encouraged to contact 911 immediately should they encounter him. The department has not provided specific details on Jhon's description, nor have they released any further information on the ongoing investigation into his disappearance.
