Howard County authorities are currently piecing together the events of a hit-and-run in Elkridge that left one woman dead. Late on the evening of September 6, a southbound vehicle struck the pedestrian as she crossed the 6200 block of Washington Boulevard, and a second vehicle heading north hit her again. Tragically, neither driver stopped to provide assistance or contact authorities, leaving the victim to be pronounced dead on the scene, as reported by Howard County Police.

Police are urging anyone who might quickly come forward with information to aid their investigation, which remains actively underway. The section of Washington Boulevard where the incident occurred was closed for around four hours to allow for preliminary evidence gathering.
