They promote awareness and build partnerships to support older adults, helping them navigate life’s transitions. The Network plays a crucial role in ensuring that Bellevue's seniors have fulfilling golden years. Aspirants must apply online via the Network on Aging page by the given deadline and it's worth noting that over half the members must be over the ripe age of 50.
Joining the Network on Aging requires a commitment of 6 to 12 hours a month for three years. Participants engage in outreach, policy advocacy, and collaboration to support older adults. To qualify, there must be a connection to Belleville, whether through living, working, or serving the senior community. If selected, members will be part of a group where more than half have firsthand experience with the challenges of aging.
