This Saturday, Oct. 5, presents yet another opportunity to roll up your sleeves for the annual Minnehaha Creek cleanup event. Dust off your work boots and aim to completely transform the creek's surroundings from a drab to fab state of natural beauty. The cleanup kickstarts at 9 a.m. and runs through noon.
Volunteers are encouraged to meet at the Municipal Service Center, located on 7305 Oxford St., where crews are set to begin the cleanup promptly at 9 a.m. In an eco-friendly move, the event calls for no prior registration.
