Prepare for a spectacle of festive lights, Litchfield Park residents. The City has announced that Christmas Light Decorators (CLD) will be jazzing up the town's greenery with holiday cheer early this year. According to the city's official website, the team will be adorning the palm trees and orange trees with Christmas lights on September 23 and 24. For those early risers and evening commuters, note the decorating times: crews will be working from the crack of dawn at 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on both days.
The decoration work will focus on the town center, around the four-way stop at Old Litchfield Road and Wigwam Boulevard. Locals should stay alert for safety and give the CLD staff space as they work with boom lift trucks. "Please watch out for trucks and staff working hard to make the City look festive," a word of caution echoed by the city's announcement.
If you're visiting the area, be aware that the decorating process might cause minor travel delays or detours. For those interested in witnessing the transformation or simply curious about traffic impacts, more information is available at the City of Litchfield Park's official website.
