According to the Irving Police Department's Facebook post, the crash caused significant traffic hindrances and necessitated the closure of the westbound side of the highway, starting at the MacArthur Exit.
The department alerted the public of the incident, noting that the thoroughfare would be unavailable for use until at least noon to allow crash investigators to perform their duties safely.
