
An incident in the West Paces Ferry neighborhood of northwest Atlanta has led to the arrest of a 47-year-old man after an argument turned violent early yesterday morning. According to Atlanta News First, police were called to Northside Parkway around 12:51 a.m., where they found a 19-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was promptly taken to an hospital, where he received medical attention for his injuries. Atlanta police have identified the suspect as Ludge Wu, a man who was detained at the scene. Wu now faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
The authorities have not released details on what started the altercation or how Wu and the victim are acquainted.
