An early morning altercation in a restaurant parking lot in Southwest Atlanta escalated into gunfire, leaving one man in a fight for his life. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the incident occurred before 2:15 a.m. at Taste Restaurant's parking area on the 700 block of Poole Place. Upon their arrival, police discovered a man with several gunshot wounds.
The unnamed victim was quickly transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Investigators indicated that the victim and the alleged shooter did not know each other prior to the dispute that led to the shooting. A suspect is reportedly in custody, but officials have yet to release details regarding his identity or potential charges.
