A devastating fire in north Phoenix has left a man fighting for his life after being pulled from a burning apartment building. The blaze, which erupted late Tuesday night near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road, resulted in the man being hospitalized in extremely critical condition.
According to a report by FOX 10 Phoenix, the Phoenix Fire Department responded to the scene and encountered flames spewing from the first floor of a two-story apartment complex. Firefighters made a swift entry into the building where they discovered the victim, unconscious and not breathing, as described in their statement. His identity is not yet disclosed, and he remains in the hospital battling serious injuries sustained during the incident.
