A deadly collision between a sedan and a semi-truck claimed the life of a man in his late sixties in Washington County on Wednesday afternoon, local authorities reported. Upon the arrival of first responders, the sedan's driver was found to be unresponsive and, despite efforts to resuscitate him, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The operator of the semi, on the other hand, did not sustain any injuries from the collision, FOX6 News reported. A preliminary investigation suggests the sedan did not respond in time to the semi, which was stopped for a delivery, and subsequently struck the rear of the truck's trailer.
Traffic was disrupted for about four hours on County Track M to facilitate accident reconstruction and vehicle removal. The site saw assistance from several agencies, including West Bend Rescue and the Washington County Medical Examiner's Office, per information obtained from Sgt.
