A tragic hit-and-run incident in Miami claimed the life of a man and left a woman injured on Monday, sparking an intense investigation by local authorities. According to NBC Miami, the crash involved three vehicles and took place at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and SW 8th Street just after 3:30 a.m.
Tragically discovered by the City of Miami Fire Rescue, the male victim, aged 29, was pronounced dead at the scene while the injured woman was promptly rushed to Coral Gables Hospital where she was reported to be in stable condition. The driver responsible for the collision had fled the scene on foot, leaving behind anguish and unanswered questions. The Miami-Dade Police Department was first to arrive on the scene, but it was later determined that the crash occurred within the City of Miami's jurisdiction, passing the baton of investigation to the Miami police.
