According to the Atlanta Police Department, upon their arrival, law enforcement found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was described as alert, conscious, and breathing when transported to a local hospital.
The preliminary investigation has unveiled that the victim was likely caught in the line of fire during a confrontation that did not concern him. Eyewitnesses told officers that a man had emerged from a white jeep and began firing towards a group of juveniles engaged in a verbal dispute. The wounded man, strickened by a bullet intended for others, does not seem to have a connection with the youth or the escalating argument, the police noted.
