For residents in Maple Grove looking to declutter their homes, the city is offering two convenient ways to say goodbye to unnecessary household items. As reported by the city's official Facebook page, citizens have the choice of either curbside pickup or a designated cleanup day to offload their unwanted possessions.
The first option, available on Monday, September 30, allows for city crews to collect appliances and tires directly from residents' curbs. Payments for pickup service must be made by the preceding Thursday, September 26, by 3:30 p.m., and all items intended for collection must be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on the day of pickup.
Alternatively, Cleanup Day will occur on Saturday, October 5, when residents can bring materials directly to the Maple Grove Public Works Facility at 9030 Forestview Lane, from 8 a.m. to noon. This option provides a more hands-on approach for those wishing to dispose of items themselves.
