At 6:00 p.m., attendees are welcomed to gather and appreciate the meticulous craft of bonsai shaping, presented by Marietta's very own bonsai virtuosos, Rick & Susan Dawsey. Amid their collection showcasing over 50 bonsai trees, visitors can BYOB, mingle, and engage with the intricate art of bonsai. This gathering, according to a statement obtained by the Marietta Tree Keepers, promises to be a confluence of nature lovers and botanical craftsmanship.
Furthermore, Rich Deckman, a certified arborist and landscape architect, will be available to answer any questions about trees. While guests are encouraged to bring their own refreshments, the Marietta Tree Keepers will be providing water and light snacks. Open to the public and free of charge, the event has been set to carry on unless besieged by heavy rain or lightning.
