Memphis Police are on the lookout for two men following a midday theft at a local store last Thursday. Action News 5 reported that the incident, which involved the theft of high-end purses and cash, was captured on camera at the Rose Company on Thomas Road.

The burglary, occurring around 11:15 a.m. last week, was described by officers in a statement later shared on the Memphis Police Department's Facebook page. According to the post, one suspect jumped over the store's locked counter to forcibly enter the employee’s office and to swiftly steal a Michael Kors purse, a Coach purse, multiple credit cards, a driver's license, and several thousand dollars in cash.

Surveillance footage shows that the suspects departed from the scene in a distinctive blue Mitsubishi Outlander with black wheels. As per the descriptions provided by the authorities, Suspect #1 is a Black male, outfitted in a black hoody, blue jeans, and black Nike slides; Suspect #2 is also a Black male, donning a gray jogging suit and gray tennis shoes.

While the investigation continues, police are urging anyone with information to come forward. According to WREG, a cash reward may be available for tips leading to an arrest. Memphis Police suggest reaching out to Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH, offering a guarantee that informants can to remain completely anonymous.

No arrests have been made as of yet, and the Memphis Police stress that this is an ongoing investigation.
