Monday afternoon's uncertainty has drawn to a close as Milwaukee police confirm the safe location of missing man, Johnny Xiong. According to WISN, Xiong, 37, was previously reported missing, prompting a public appeal for assistance from law enforcement.
After extensive outreach to the community, the Milwaukee Police Department announced that missing person Xiong has been found safe, easing concerns for his well-being. Missing cases often involve additional risks for those affected. However, details about Xiong's disappearance and how he was located are still unclear.
Before Milwaukee police came to locate Xiong, he was last known to be near 19th Place and Olive Street, as per details provided by FOX6 News. Xiong was believed to be driving a black 2016 Honda Accord, with Wisconsin license plate ALM-3111. Identifying characteristics include Xiong's 5'5" stature, 220-pound frame, with brown eyes and black hair. His attire at the time was described to include a black pullover hoodie, gray or white shorts, and a uniquely maroon-colored ball cap.
During this anxious search period, Milwaukee police had especially urged the public to contribute any information to hasten to find Xiong. In a statement obtained by Journal Sentinel, concerned parties were asked to directly call the Milwaukee Police Department District 5.
