
The Plano Police Department recently made an urgent appeal to the public to help locate a missing 17-year-old girl, Catalina Carpenter, who is considered a critical missing juvenile due to her suicidal ideations. The announcement made by the Plano Texas Police Department on social media stated that Catalina was last observed wandering near the intersection of Corinthian Bay Drive at Winding Hollow Lane in Plano around 12:50 p.m.
According to the police description, Catalina stands 5’4” tall, weighs around 120 lbs., and is distinguished by her long brown hair and hazel eyes. The day she went missing, she was seen wearing light-tan pants, a light-green athletic-style tee shirt, and white socks without shoes. Authorities have been urgently requesting anyone with information to swiftly act and call 911, referencing Plano Police incident #24-186595.
Fortunately, subsequent updates from the Plano Police Department have brought relief with the news that Catalina Carpenter was located safely. While details on the circumstances of her recovery were not immediately disclosed, the resolution of this case helps to somewhat alleviate the angst that such incidents stir within the community.
